In reference to the third video clip, Susan and I recently (Nov. 09') attended training at Wheaton Bible Church on "Understanding Islam". For me, it was certainly an eye-opener! The number of mosques that have and are springing up in our neighborhoods, cities, states is astounding. Next time you are out shopping, take note of who is behind the counter at the gas stations, donut places, banks, grocery stores, etc. They have schools, banks, and various types of businesses. They are expected to memorize the Quran (with or without money to cover the costs - they provide scholarships for such). We were informed that their mission is to convert white America to Islam.
The person who gave the presentation is an Instructor at Moody and heads a ministry that serves the Islamic community in Chicago spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. He informed us of how Jesus came into his family life - it was a life and death scenario. I learned although, Muslims acknowledge Jesus as a Prophet their point of departure in their belief system is the resurrection. And, they don't believe that He is God!
So, what is our(Christians) role today? I believe it is to become vigilant in our pursuit in spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ to every tribe, tongue, and nation. And, that includes the Muslims.
