The Nations Are Watching

The primary verses for Study 2 are Exodus 19:1-6; Deuteronomy 4:1-9; and 1 Peter 2:9. It is descriptive of God's intentions for the role Israel would have in the world and how we would be responsible for that same role today. Also, take some time to explore the various characteristics on eagles and how symbolic they are to God in relation to us.

I encourage you to comment on any of the scriptures and in particular the section, Seeing the World through God's Eyes. What did Holy Spirit reveal to you?

Our prayer is that Holy Spirit will reveal how we can be involved in world evangelism through our prayer life individually and corporately. That He would give us a prayer strategy that everyone could participate in for the nations so that we can become more world missions - minded. That we would use and build upon the tools that he has already provided thru the Operations World link, the 21 days of prayer and the daily Unreached People of the Day which rotates daily in Jesus name.

  1. Yes, the nations(peoples) are watching me and other believers daily. They are looking for God in so many places that our lives have become the "YouTube" for many. Others are reading what we say on MySpace, FaceBook, Twitter, to name a few of the social networking sites. Many are looking to see if we are in fact God chosen people, that royal priesthood, holy nation, and yes God's own special people. Some are looking to see how loving we are through our acts of forgiveness. They are looking to see if the real Jesus really lives in us as we say He does.

For peoples of other nations, God is expecting us to fulfill our role as a royal priesthood praying for them. He wants us to become world Christians, mission-minded believers. He wants us to be involved in world evangelism thru our intercessory prayers. God expects an intercessory prayer strategy for the nations. For he tells us to pray one for another and to pray unceasing. And, part of that is to pray to the Lord of the Harvest . . .! And, what an amazing God we serve, that we can send his Word (Ps 107;20) anywhere thru prayers. We can go anywhere in this world thru prayer~that's the kind of God we serve!
