Blessings Aren't for Hoarding!

The base scripture for this study is Psalm 67. It reflects a song for people who long for God's blessing.

Seeing the World thru God's Eyes
Our challenge is to reflect on how we are using God's blessings(tangible and intangible) to be a blessing to others here and abroad. And, then to take the next step of whatever it is for you individually.

A Thousand Questions

What Is The Ultimate Goal of Missions? What does it look like? What is your role?

  1. My comments comes on the heels of Thanksgiving. Although a national holiday in the USA, it is actually a time to reflect on how God has truly blessed us and whether with those blessings we have in fact been, as Abraham seed, a blessing to others. As a nation, we are blessed with so many things in comparison to third world countries. We take so much for granted such as running clean water that many of us such as me let it run while brushing our teeth - how wasteful. The psalm was in part an unselfish prayer that included the word “us” – a model for us to pray for one another. And, the prophesy that “all” people praise him. Our individual mission to go and witness fulfills the prophesy that God would be known by his many deeds and that as a result of knowing Him we, the people, would praise him. Our God is a missionary God and we were made in his image, a reflection of Him. Therefore, making Christ known and sharing his blessings (tangible and intangible) are what God requires. Please share your thoughts and how Holy Spirit speaks to you to the members of this study group. I invite you to take time from your busy schedule and share . . . It is an extremely important piece to this study to know how God is moving in and among us as we study this part of His Word in regards to missions.
